With celebrate the Internet Day on May 17, 2010 and in accordance with the principles expressed in the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva, I declare my desire and commitment to build an Information Society people-centered, inclusive and development-oriented, which everyone can create, access, utilize and share information and knowledge for individuals, communities and peoples to achieve their full potential in promoting their sustainable development and improving their quality of life, based on the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations and respecting fully and upholding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
that education, knowledge, information and communication are essential for progress, initiative and the welfare of human beings. Moreover, information technology and telecommunications (ICT) have an immense impact on virtually all aspects of our lives.
I have the firm conviction that we are collectively entering a new era of enormous potential, the era of Information Society and expanded human communication. In this emerging society can generate, exchange, share and communicate information and knowledge among all the world's telecommunications networks.
