Searching stored readings to read later, I found this article published on September 8, 2009 by Juan Carrión. Reading it was interesting and wanted them to colleagues who had not read or do not know about the Future Minds know how are you minds from my view are related to the XXI Century Skills . For Gardner's five minds, or if preferred the five cognitive abilities, most valuable in the XXI century will be:
• The disciplined mind. Gardner claims that require about 10 years to master a particular specialty (area of \u200b\u200bknowledge). The disciplined mind is constantly working and able to improve their knowledge and skills.

• The synthetic mind. Collects information from disparate sources and manages to separate the wheat from the chaff, making sure everything has a meaning. It is a kind of instrumental mind to build and manage large amounts of information. Fundamental to move online, for example.

• The creative mind. The creative mind is supported by the disciplined and synthetic but is able to go further and open new avenues of thought. Helps to generate new ideas, raise new questions (that seem strange and surprising), create new ways of thinking, unpredictable responses ... It's the kind of mind that is way ahead of computers and robots.

• The respectful mind. Is able to observe and accept differences among individuals and groups. People who develop a respectful mind include the "other" and work with them, and above all, practice tolerance. By the way, I hope this kind of mind to take place in the world of politics, missing it ...

• The ethical mind. It is the largest involving power of abstraction. It reflects on how to respond to the different roles we have in life. It is a mind that reflects on the nature of our work, excellence, commitment and ethics. And of course, about the needs and desires of the society in which we live.

course, Gardner's five minds can be cultivated by the same person. But the big problem we face is that the current education system can not grow many of them ...
