Biodiversity is the great treasure that has our planet, for this reason it is essential to take care of preserving the ecological balance and keeping it alive. Ecuador has a wide variety of ecosystems with hundreds of plants, birds, fish, animals and insects. Yet, due to various factors, some of them are disappearing. To prevent this destruction to continue is that teachers should encourage in students a desire to create an environmental culture by developing activities that promote the care and preservation thereof.
